Day 1 in Greece, and this place is a delight! I am in the village of Argyroupolis, Crete, which has a population of about 450 people. It is located 15 minutes from Rethymno (beautiful beaches), and was built on the ancient city of Lappa in the Lefke Ori (the White Mountains!). The views are beautiful, and I have so far only wandered the main part of the village, but cannot wait to explore further!
