On my day off this week I was able to go to the south with a friend and explore more of the beaches of Plakias. Apparently, there are many, and I have now been to 2, but they are just so pretty! We were in the sea for about 2 hours (and I can feel muscles I haven’t used in a very long time after that), and then were just on the beach through the sunset. Meditating, reading, looking for pretty rocks, stretching and then a trip into the village for (surprisingly good) pizza.
This is really just an appreciation of how lovely this island is.
